Our passion at Physicians Choice Private Duty is to provide comprehensive in-home assisted living services, and we’re confident you won’t find anyone else in Omaha who can do it with the same skill, dedication, and efficiency that we offer. Since 2010, we’ve been a locally owned in-home assisted living agency with dedicated community ties. Our concern is for our neighbors and their families.
Core Principles and Values
We provide our in-home assisted living services based on the Five C’s of caring, developed by Sister Simone Roach in 1987 to address the fundamental concept of what nurses do each and every day:
Compassion:
The ability to be with another in their suffering through empathy, sensitivity, and understanding—essential components of the nurse-patient relationship.
Competence:
The skilled use of evidence-based scientific and humanistic knowledge by a nurse to understand their role within community and hospital healthcare systems.
Conscience:
Moral and ethical motivation to respond with an awareness of global health matters with regard to responsibility, accountability, and leadership for patient care.
Confidence:
A nurse’s trust in their knowledge and ability to provide services as a caregiver, and to create caring environments that facilitate developments of change.
Commitment:
Remaining loyal to oneself and the standards and obligations of the nursing practice to ensure excellence in patient interactions and dedicated caregiving.
